1) What are Clinical Dental Technicians?
Clinical Dental Technicians (CDTs) are GDC-registered professionals who combine clinical denture care with advanced laboratory craftsmanship. We examine your mouth, take precise impressions and jaw records, then design, hand-craft and fit your dentures ourselves. For complete dentures, you can see a CDT directly; for partial dentures, we work in partnership with your dentist to ensure your natural teeth and gums are healthy and the design is safe.
2) What Can We Do?
As denture specialists, CDTs focus on comfort, function and aesthetics – end to end. Typical services include:
- New full and partial dentures (in collaboration for partials)
- Immediate (same-day) dentures after extractions, planned with your dentist
- Repairs, relines and soft liners—often while you wait
- Copy/duplicate dentures and smile makeovers
- Implant-retained overdentures, working closely with implant dentists
Because the same clinician also makes your dentures in our on-site lab, we can fine-tune tooth shape, shade and gum contour in real time. Turnarounds are quicker, adjustments are easier, and the final result is more personalised.
